Hope this is the correct place for ny question. I was given (u beaudy) an old Quadra with what looked like a Briggs "Max" engine on it. When I tried to verify the engine by the numbers it was not the normanl series of a "Max" engine.
It read" 90707". My question is............ "is this a Max engine (IC) or not. (by the way, it will run as is the case with 99.999999% of all Briggs engines that I get. Despite total abuse. Is there an RSPCA for mowers? [Linked Image]
