However I'd appreciate you letting us know how this mower runs after you've used it a few more times, over a period. My history of the reliability of that kind of fix over time, is not totally encouraging. Changing the engine speed cannot change the existence of a lean spot in the carburetion, all it can do is keep you from encountering it as often as previously.
