Great advice, I hear it ping every time it comes out so I'll give it a tweek to start with it might be bent. I can't imagine the cam is that worn when it pings out. Which way do I bend it? Yes silly question but you have done it I have not. My tilt a cut that I'm restoring I noticed that the cable had a slight bend in the end and it didn't pop out, maybe they had a bend from new?
Mr Davis the kill wires shouldnt affect the thing popping out should it? I mean I basically can't close the throttle enough to make contact with the kill wires before it pings out. My cam also looks different to,yours , yours has a ramp for the kill wire to move along before hitting the stop. Is yours an LM carb.
Also your poppet valve is yellow, what is going on?
