Hi All. New member, first post.
A few years ago I was given a 1986 Scott Bonnar 45 and the quality of the information on this forum has inspired me to pull her down and bring her back to life.
I have removed the reel and bottom plate as well as the engine from the frame.
I did manage to get it running prior to pulling it down. I did change the diaphram in the fuel pump, clean fuel etc but could only start it with fuel down the cylinder and after further investigation found the carby base bowed and 2 gaskets on the inlet port. Will worry about that later, plenty of other things to do.
I am having trouble removing the thrust bearing from the inner clutch. Watching Deejay's video I took that the bearing just slid out after the cotter pin was removed or does it need to be punched out from behind?
Thanks,
Craig
