jonesy, jap engine 4/3 B/P/89665/6. the numbers indicate, 4/3 model, B I think is the cc capacity, P year manufacture,1940, 89659 is the engine number and the number 6 indicates the engine is fitted with a non standard part.regards,john Thats strange as the 4/3 on the Ransomes Mower seems MUCH larger?.. & looks to be older? see it here... https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=48989#Post48989
