Ok thanks for the wise words.
1) The spark plug has been replaced with a brand new one.
2) Are we agreeing that is worthwhile to check the tappit clearances? This is a process I have not completed before so I would appreciate your guideance. To date my work has mainly been with 2 stroke engines. I have watched some You Tube video's that explain the process and I have also read the Briggs Manual from the Outdoorking Site which also explains the process.
I believe I have all the necessary tools however some guidance would be appreciated as I believe some wise words will make the process much easier to follow.
