Well that is true. Also the mark II was relised at the same time as the mark III,which had the remote primer. I'm fairly sure that there was a lot more mark III's made than the mark II's. I bet at the time there was a lot fitted after that with the remote primer. So I'd keep it that way. Also as I said running right there not that hard to start. Mine even with a sad engine still starts well. About the second or third pull of the starter.
