good point Rusty.ute. have asked the same Qs myself. the people on this site are excellent and quick to respond with details of engine numbers etc, but a detailed log of them for us to peruse would make life a bit simpler. after all if we have to keep asking the questions from the people whos knowledge comes from within, then maybe that information will be lost forever in time . this site could be the holy grail database for the future of all our old mower information.
i know that trying to backtrack and find posts containing vital information takes time and effort. and so i eventually give up .
which brings me to a vital point. i too am in need of some number info. already done a search for model 2a engine numbers. came up blank. so i will put up a post up aksing my question. so far i can id only a few models and thats fom the posts ive put on asking Qs here?
so hope you could do a database of sorts. would be awesome.cheers bazz
