hey fast grass, grumpy, thanks for the engine info that helps shed some light on afew things, the problem it has with the starter mech is it gets caught up when i flick the switch, i've greased the starter mech afew i cleaned it up and it made no difference so i'm not to sure what the problem is, i'll take it off and get some pics maybe someone could identify the problem for me.
I'm in 2 minds as to if i should repaint it original colours etc and i was contemplating getting the cracked base repaired too, shes a great mower and alot quieter than the victas i'm used too.
