found its an 89 model with headlights for show only it was a freebie so any moneys spent which isnt much, a mate bought a huskvarna didnt want the old mtd , free is good. and in good shape so far a new spindle on the deck a new drive belt would love to hear from anyone who might have the rubber mounted engine mounts all good i spotted a brick top mower in tassie i always wanted a lawn boy wasnt a a lawn boy but the brick top was cool and here was on gumtree if anybodys intrested
