You can edit them while the "Edit" symbol is displayed immediately below the post. Just press the Edit symbol. If it doesn't appear, too much time has elapsed since you posted it, and you can't edit it.
If you ever have a major problem with something you've posted and want it deleted entirely, send a PM to a moderator.
