I've just bought a Morrison Rapier 710 walk behind slasher. Someone has put oil in the gearbox, and the Peerless gearbox manual I've downloaded from the interweb says it should be packed with 375mL of bentonite grease, which I've found is difficult to get.
Is there another grease that's easier to get and which has equivalent specs, say Moly grease?
Also, Morrison in NZ don't have a manual they can e-mail me. How do I find out if the forum Manuals page has one - or do I have to subscribe first.
