A dangerous incident happened to me when checking if there was a good spark at the plug after it was removed from motor.
Connected lead and son pulled starter whilst I earthed plug to head.
Only trouble was flames spewed out from the empty plug hole, burning the calf of my leg.
Luckily, I was wearing rubber thongs and I jammed against plug hole and cut off air supply.
