Can anyone tell me the Victa Commando 2 stroke history and dates of production (that's the 'flat top' Commando version). They seem to be pretty popular having the power torque engine, 'modern' plastic carb and rugged looking cowl (in orange, green, white or black) with the high arch base. I have a few here and have spotted quite a few around. The only issue I seem to commonly find is the poor attachment location of the handle bars to the top of the base using very basic bolts!
