Hi Lancealotta Did you check the diapragm in the decompressor. .You can do this by sucking on the pipe and it should close the valve easily. Sometimes the diafragm will get burnt and get a big hole in it,then wont close the valve to keep the engine running . The burning is caused by running the engine at a very low idle for a long periodas the valve is popping open and shut the heat from the engine, which is considerable, will go up past tyhe valve and heat up the diapragm and bake it up and burn holes in it Regards Joe
