My 1976 Victa with 92908 Briggs has an "Impala" logo on it. The catcher is a standard type: thumb latch, and a lever on the side of the mower base for lifting the 2-piece rear door. Incidentally it has an air filter snorkel, and the Impala badge is on a sheet steel stamping that keeps debris from falling into the governor linkage, and is held in place by the snorkel elbow. So, what is the significance of Impala, if they put it on both 2 and 4 strokes? Just another Victa badge, introduced to confuse the collectors?
