Hi,

I have a mower here with a briggs & stratton Quantum 50 motor, it has a vibration that I am not completly happy with, I was thinking maybe the blade has been bent? It's just a 1 piece bar and the blades are not removable.

So what I was thinking is removing the blade and starting the motor up and see if the vibration goes away? Will it cause any damage to the motor without the blade present?

I read something that it could damage it but I have a feeling it is to do with the 2 stroke motors.
