Hi Glenn, Yes the old victa motor are overlooked when it comes to power.I've been hotting them up for a good 12 years now and I think there's a good 20+hp to be had (curently only for a short time about 2 hours). The big trick is useing an early full turned crank, reworking the barrel, piston and head, I also recommend steel banding the flywheel. The standard cabie looks good in the bin unless it the early slide type (which I then bore out an extra 1/16-1/8").I'm currently working on my latest 160 now useing a 3/4" Zama but this set up needs a remote fuel bowl, and hope to break 100ks my current speed is 87ks in a 17kg bike.I think I might get some photos done because its not easy to write a fool proof crash coures on port timeing, and engineering mods are required.I'd like to have some compition so if you want I could do a motor or parts to suit needs. You can Email me at: mrattsd@powerup.com.au
