Hi MacCullum, good to see that that the housing has been welded, but how do you know that the weld is all the way through? Has the allen screwed part been removed, and all surfaces inspected?
Re: your bottom blade, the engineer that sharpens your reel will manufacture one for you....he will most probably have one in his stock..(as well as the screws to suit) and because you are having your reel assy sharpened there, you will get it at a better price.
To develop a good relationship with your engineer is very important, if you wish to maintain a reel mower in tip-top condition through-out its mowing life.
