first ide check that the pull start and the cup that it grips into are secure and intact. check the coil gap because its possible the coil is clunking against the the flywheel, which would also stop the unit from starting because there would be no spark. often the blades fly around and make noises but considering it wont start check the obvious things first. from memory the older corsair's were the original full crank victa engines?
