Righto chaps, after checking around - Here's the course of action I have taken
1) put down a $50 deposit on a 4 stroke Rover with Briggs&Stratton motor -reconditioned from mower shop
2) decided to pull down the engine to bare parts again - rings, and new seals (top & bottom).
Should be an interesting journey.
Also - it's recycling "junk" week on our suburb at the moment! Yay.
Picked up a non-working Ryobi Whippersnipper (fuel lines perished & starter clutch a bit hammered)
Also a briggs & stratton 4 stroke Rover mower (not working - no spark).
So it should give me PLENTY of small machines to practice on
