More than likely then I have been hearing of a lot of quantum coils going bad lately. I have also had bad plugs which don't spark under compression but will happily spark when tested.
If the kill wire that goes back down to the throttle cable area is insulated well and you still have no spark then.
My best bet would be the coil....
They can be found on the online store here or someone may have a second hand one here. (I do but I would have to look around the wrecked machines for one.)
