G'day Steve,

I'd probably need engine Hp ,year of mower and the deck cutting width to look up specs.

V-belts are measured based on their length, which can be represented in two ways:

Inside Length (C): This is the measurement of the belt along the inner surface, which is the distance between the two grooves of the pulley. This measurement is typically used for belts that operate over a fixed pulley distance.

Outside Length (L): This is the length measured around the outer surface of the belt. This length can be relevant when the belt is in motion and the outer edges are in contact with the pulleys.

When purchasing or specifying belts, it is important to check the manufacturer's documentation or standard specifications to determine which measurement is being used, as different manufacturers may provide lengths in one form or the other. Always ensure you have the correct measurement based on your specific application to avoid fitting issues.

The last image is inside of the V belt length. When I look up V belt sizes I need engine Hp ,year of mower
and the deck cutting width to find the correct specs.

eg length, Inside Length = 83.75 inches +2×0.5=83.75+1 = 84.75 outer length inches

Cheers
Max.
