It is hard to repair anything that is low cost to start with. I kinda believe manufacture does this low pricing intentionally to keep us from repairing things. I just killed two Stihl handheld blower due to parts costing as much as replacement unit.

I thought after customer left them that maybe I could fix the el cheapo for my own use. No such luck as it turn out to be the connecting rod bearing on the crankshaft and the crank itself cost nearly 120 usd for a 159 usd blower. The other one has a worn out PNC and that is nearly 3/4 of the cost the replacement unit.

Here I can't even make anything on walk behind mower for the same reasons.
