G'day Kynan,

I think it would depend on year ,model ,2 or 4 stroke ,Vertical or horizontal shaft.

I've seen Horizontal shaft Kirby Tecumseh motors that are black ,in USA Tecumseh and Lauson had black motors.

Here I mostly see Kirby motors red ,orange ,white green and crankcases that are not painted.
