Old fella died, sons would rather use a battery trimmer than anything petrol. Serviced and rekitted carby by a local shop 3 or 4 years back and not run since. Drained the tank and it eventually fired up and ran reasonably well. Have used it a few times and its not a bad trimmer.
Only problem is the primer doesnt work. Its a single line remote primer that looks like it pressurises behind the metering diaphragm. What gets me though is according to the manual says fuel should squirt out the overflow pipe - but cant get it to do it.
My working theory is that the wrong kit was used and its missing a breather hole somewhere
