I never get ads Tyler, I change settings and delete temporary files etc and add U block to the browser also I select New Private window in Firefox or with Chrome just select Incognito Mode on a laptop ,phone or iPad.
Private window and incognito mode stops Cookies, this stops the small files that websites put on your PC to store info about your preferences.
