Did you ever come up with an answer as to why the snippers die as soon as you start to open the throttle. I can get this one to rev up but it will only do it with the choke fully closed. As soon as I start to open the choke it dies. To me this appears like an air leak on the manifold but I have sprayed starter fluid around the manifold with it running and that didn't make any difference
