Yes the ECHO SRM-200DA is old as it still has ignition points under the flywheel.
They seem to start easily enough ,I got a couple of old Echo trimmers going about a month ago ,when they haven't run for ages I put some two stroke in a WD 40 squeeze bottle and remove the air filter and spray fuel into the carby to get the trimmer to start and run then hopefully after a while the carby will prime with fuel and run off the carby.
That's all I had to do to get them running besides giving them a clean with compressed air.
You may have to clean and adjust the points but on my old trimmers I usually try a Victa module.
