G'day Kenny and Norm

I'm not sure if this Masport was sold as a cheaper model along with the newer Masport .

The newer model came out in about 1977 (having the larger rear discharge door)

The latest early model that I have owned that had a Briggs so can date by the code number on the
engine was 1976.

The ones I've had with Briggs motors, the date on the engine matches the base stamping , but just don't
have a lot of information for when this model stopped without seeing the original Briggs motor on the base.

Norm , good to know the specs on drilling the Honda pattern as I haven't redrilled for a Honda swap yet but do have a cut of
a Victa base top with 2 and 4 stroke pattern so it just bolts on and you drill the holes without any measuring or
marking out so I could just add a few more holes to the plate for Honda. Saves a lot of time just bolting the
plate on and drill ,must have drilled out at least a 100 with the Victa steel top plate.

Cheers
Max.
