I usually run the motor with the air filter off then when the motor is running and it starts to die I give it a spray
of start ya bastard ,if the motor revs up with the starter fluid then I know it's a fuel supply problem but if the
motor still cuts out with starter fluid then I know it's a spark problem ,try a new spark plug and if that doesn't
work replace the coil.
I've had a lot of these that needed new coils ,classic coil problem is to get hot then break down.
