Yes yes, I realised my blunder ages ago but it was too late to correct.
When I see any reel mower, SB screams out automatically.
The Victa two stroke never came with a choke AFAIK, certainly non that I ever used. Maybe the toecutters had one.
It's part and parcel for the tickler to squirt fuel at the bottom. That's telling you it's time to try and start the mower.
Not sure why your throttle is working in reverse. Maybe it's mounted back to front.
