Hello guys, thanks alot for the prompt response of helpful infomation I got the fly weel off and the problem is still there, atleast I know what I'm in for now.
Will split the crank this weekend and check for pitting on the crank pin which I'm hoping it will be, should be and easy fix. If it's a bent drive shaft it will be a very long restoration trying to find replacements I think. I won't give up until the mower is restored looking like this picture!!!
