Hi guys I'm new to the forum I recently bought a Scott Bonnar 33 and currently doing a restoration on it, I changed all the bearings got the reel and bed knife sharpened. I have put the drive clutch back together but having some issues when I tighten the nut it will fully engage the clutch and if i was to run it like that it would just take off without me pressing the lever, I am able to back off the nut which would then make the clutch work correctly but if I do that the nut is loose and can turn it self off when using the mower. i have had a look at the diagram and think i have all the parts in the correct order but i could be wrong, note when i got the mower the drive clutch was working fine Here are some photos of the parts i have for the drive clutch I also have 2 extra shims/ flat washers in top of photo which were part of the drive clutch but unsure where they go and in the diagram it doesn't show them so not sure if someone previously have added these in there, any help would be much appreciated
