I bought one for some repair after being told by a friend that it works well. I only paid $10 on special one time.

You do have to heat it up with a heat gun before you put any strain on it though - probably where a lot of people slip up

I am inclined to agree with max - you can get them cheap. However, this is probably one of the hi-po ones (being on a 550), so probably worth trying
