
Thanks again Bruce. I`ve blown through the fuel filter and air comes out squirting petrol out. I cleaned the air filter with kero. Now i`ll put it back together and try it and if that doesn`t work it must be the other options you mentioned. Cheers again

Have put it back together after doing all that including emptying and cleaning the petrol tank with petrol. It takes a long time to start, (a dozen pulls or more) but did start, and i adjusted the carby screws a little while it was going and i can now get good power even upside down. Would putting in a new petrol tank filter make it easier to start?
