I never get things like that repaired these days. If I can not fix it myself I always buy a new one. Often it's electronic faults which usually can not be fixed without expensive circuit boards and the like
This new dryer probably has electronics for the reverse rotation. Probably not fixable
If we had never experienced the reverse rotation we would have no idea how good it is.
