G'day Gadge,

I have my doubts as to whether Cox will restart Enduro production. I had actually called them, trying to get a hold of a new one, but no cigar. I don't think they are making anything other than blades and mesh catcher for them anymore. I tried to buy a new poly one after Bonnar Bloke managed to locate probably the last Greenfield Enduro on sale in the country! Again, nothing.

I'm sure that if they wished to sell it to make some $$ to Mr Gripske and Co. they most certainly could. It would be probably much cheaper than starting R&D from scratch.

Jack and Norm,

Almost every other Government on the planet subsidises industry to some extent. It boggles my mind they we don't do the same. I'm certainly not for massive trade barriers, but when we stupidly do "free trade" deals with countries who do their best to maneuver around them, I think we're nuts for not imposing import taxes on products made, or that SHOULD be made here. It is almost treasonous that I can buy a can of Italian tomatoes for 89c, but the Ardmona or SPC (Aussie) stuff is twice the price.

I don't collect mowers. I just require Multiple Mowing Solutions™.
