In turf-care history, 
Ryan is a USA institution.
Yours presents as a 1960s or 1970s machine.
I would love to see the engine's Model, Type and Code stamped
into the Briggs' engine cowl.
That will give us a date, as the engine appears original.
I can't help but feel that 
Scott Bonnar based their 
Model 46 on the Ryan
design. What do you think? ...
