Engine number -

Mk10 - 522/106411D

It's an English made engine and complete bar it's air filter/strangler. I love the name strangler, choke is only a little more pc. A change of oil and a clean up of the points was a little overdue, carb was spotless but the fuel tank was loaded with crud and rust. Cleaned all that mess up and it runs well, a little smoky so it will get an overhaul

I wonder about the smoke, it is possible that after sitting maybe for 10 years or more ? That the rings are gummed up and not doing there job. i will be interested to see when I pull it down.
