Hi Peatert,I would like to wish you a big warm welcome to the forum.

It's nice to have you onboard.
I am also a Scott Bonnar addict and hopefully can give you some help.
The model 33 Scotty is a fairly rare beast and was manufactured to my knowledge in the late 50's and was the forerunner of the Model 45. From what I have been told, they are not easy to get parts for; especially new parts. If you could get a
new cylinder 6 blade cutter (which I doubt), you could expect to pay between $350-$400 including new bearings and shield washers. A 6 hole bottom knife blade would set you back about $40-$50.
However, the Model 45 Scotty is a different matter, and as far as I am aware, are still being manufactured by Rover as the Rover 45. Consequently all parts are still readily available.

If you are considering buying a 45, you can pick one up, second hand, in very tidy nick, for between $350-$450.
Just check out Scott Bonnar on e-Bay, you may just grab yourself a bargain

Hope this has been of some help to you,
