Speedy, what I have found with the mod, is once you have cut the cam, you fit 3 thin washers under the cam, this lifts it up about 1mm and this will shut the mower off completely if you go to the start position on the control. This is where the idle screw in the cap comes into play, you just screw it in till you have the idle speed at what you want and you are good to go
